Friday night was my scout troops annual hobo camp. We live like hobos for one night. We eat a communal stew of whatever everyone brings (the can of food they brought is the bowl they eat out of), sleep in appliance boxes, play night games on the snow and enjoy a warm fire of pallet wood. We cook our breakfast on hobo stoves made from metal food cans and fuel them with candle wax or alcohol. The next day we burn our boxes in a huge fire. This may sound weird but it is the most popular camp of the year for us . We had 7 boys and 3 dads this year. It lightly snowed during the night and got down to a chilly 13 degrees.
