Camp Hunt July 22-27 2013
by Kyler Sorensen
We went to Camp Hunt this last week with scout leaders: Scott Christensen, Brother Sessions, Brother Ammon Daugs, and Brother Steve Sorensen Brother Brett Jenson and Bishop Godfrey were able to come up for one evening.
From 9-12 am there were merit badge classes. Our troop averaged 5 merit badges each and then after lunch we had free time until dinner. We had flag ceremony every morning and night. They had us do a different cheer every day with a word that had to be in it.
On Friday, we had water front Olympics and almost got 1st on two of them. The disc throw and the water barrel fill.
Through our participation in camp we warned the Wasatchkie award.
The scouts would like to thank our scout master and all of the others who made this camp possible.

In scout camp this week we had a lot of fun. On the first day we got set up, had lunch, went to classes then had dinner and flag ceremony. After flag ceremony we went to opining campfire that was pretty fun.
The next day we woke up, went to classes and it was pretty much a normal day. The merit badges I did that day were my morning classes which were swimming, kayaking and wilderness survival. In the afternoon I did geology then we did free time. That night we did wilderness survival over nighter up in the mountains. The next day was a normal day except in the afternoon we did forestry. Then the next day we did indian lore.
Then the next day, we had the waterfront olympics. They were a lot of fun activities and the scout masters belly flop. That was funny. Then that night we had closing campfire. Our final day we packed up and went home.
