Spring Creek High Adventure Trip

We left early Monday morning on April 1st. We drive up to Escalante we ate lunch in Scipio of around there then we started driving again we arrived in Escalante at about five if I remember right we set up camp then we went on a service hike most of the group picked up trash Stephen, Daniel, Josh May, and Paul Leishman clipped branches so that people wouldn't hit their heads on branches on our way back to camp it started sprinkling. When we got back to camp we ate had a thought and went to bed. Tuesday,, we hiked a sixteen mile hike in preparation for the slot canyons in my mind this was the hardest hike there was, we hiked the Escalante grand stair case. It took us most of the day to hike when we finished hiking we went back to camp. Wednesday,  we went and hiked the slot canyons I liked but hated this hike. I hated this hike because there were a lot of high places and I am scared of heights I think Josh May agrees with me that he hated this hike because he is claustrophobic he said the only reason he finished was because of my fear of heights and he saw me pressing on. The worst part of this hike for me was when we had to use a rope to lower everyone about twenty feet. It got really tight after this, so tight I ended up having to take off my shoes because they were to wide to keep on without them getting stuck. When we finally made it out we tried to decide if we should go back the way we came or hike another mile to get back to the vehicles we decided to go the mile to the vehicles. When we got to the cars we decided what to do. Everyone decided they wanted to go to place named devils playground that had huge boulders that we could climb on. When we finished here we were leaving and Paul left with his truck first what he didn't notice was that he had left his tailgate open so we had to chase him down we got going really fast down the road and then Paul started wondering if the boys in his vehicle had remembered to shut the tailgate they said no so he stopped so they could shut it after this happened we returned to camp ate and went to sleep. Thursday, we packed up and left for home. 

We got home at about six o'clock.
